Funeral prearrangement

This is a contract made during a person’s lifetime that defines the funeral and burial arrangements to be carried out upon their death.

The importance of funeral prearrangement

The death of a loved one requires the person responsible for their funeral to make a lot of choices. Making a prearrangement contract lightens the load on those closest to us in the event of death. What does it do?

  • Ensures that last wishes are respected.
  • Avoids placing additional burdens on our loved ones, such as making decisions in a highly emotional situation.
  • Locks in prices immediately for future funeral services. Because they are guaranteed by law, these prices cannot increase after the contract is made.

MICA does not sell travel insurance, group insurance and funeral prearrangement products. MICA advisors can refer their clients to our partners, who are responsible for issuing these products.
