Quebec City, June 3, 2011 – It is with pride and a sense of accomplishment that MICA cabinets de services financiers receives its annual report card, which has an average grade of 92%. This result, from Finance et Investissement magazine, puts MICA in first place among multidisciplinary firms for the fourth consecutive year.

The annual rankings are based on the assessment that advisers made of their firm’s conditions of practice. They confirmed MICA’s leading position in the financial services industry. Taking the number one spot in the top 9, the firm was recognized for its overall performance and won in 14 of the 21 categories, often with more than 90%.

“Among the 21 categories, 93% of advisers felt that company ethics was the most important,” noted the magazine’s June 2011 issue. “Ethics are important in all business, and crucial to our industry”, said MICA Capital operations director Luc Cournoyer. “We work hard to raise the standards of the industry, and obtaining a score of 9.9 out of 10 from our advisers for ethics shows us that we’re making the right choices”, he continued.

MICA’s highest scores for its 25th year of operation came in the following categories: freedom and independence given to advisers to sell the products of their choice (9.9), customer service (9.8), corporate culture (9.6) and legal and compliance services (9.6).

“Today, we’re seeing the work of the entire team being recognized,” said MICA president Gino‑Sébastian Savard. “I put our high level of customer satisfaction down to the small steps our advisers take every day”. He concluded by stressing that the management team takes the rankings very seriously and integrates them into its continuous improvement process.
